Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1can (28oz) plum tomatoes (with juice)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
- You can also add what meat you would like
Directions
- Heat oil in 3 quart saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, then cook for 3 minutes or until tender.
- Stir in teh tomatoes (with juice), tomato paste and basil
- Cook, stirring to break up the tomatoes, for 5 minutes or until mixture begins to boil.
- Reduce heat to low, partially cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
Great on spaghetti squash :)
